During this week i have

IT has had a
big impact on our society. Many of these impacts have been positive, but there
have been negative ones too.
Working in a
small group, discuss each of the developments in IT that are listed in the

Disadvantages of Social Implications in the IT Industry
- May cause many companies to go out of business like clothes shops and travel agents
- you may be vulnerable to being scammers many people are using online banking
- your personal information becomes much easier to obtain
- you may be scammed by phishers who remake a bank website and then steal you card details
- many people are also now illegally downloading music and films which has led for high street shops like HMV to shutdown
Advantages of Social Implications in The IT Industry
- Able to contact friends and family very easily
- you can share audio videos and pictures
- can order food and clothes from you own home
- can book you own holiday and save money by not having to go to a travel agent:))))))
- you can also use online banking from your computer or your phone
