how Ict has effected other jobs
Many factories are now using robots to produce there product as robots can work all day and all night needing no breaks and once you gave bought the machine you do not have to pay them any more.

Offices used to employee many secretaries  to produce the documents  required for the business to run. Now people have personal computers, they tend to type and print their own documents.

also in newspaper printing they used to have a highly skilled printers to layout a newspaper nd to then print thousands of newspapers. The same task can now be performed far more quickly using computers with DTP software and computer-controlled printing presses.

Social Implications of E-Commerce

Social implications have changed over the last few years and now effect nearly everyone across the world and if you now don't own a computer are at a huge disadvantage :
there are several disadvantages of not owning a computer for example if you run a business and are using a manual database the information can be easily stolen lost or destroyed and can take a very long time to find what your looking for and are made unable to shop online for food clothe s and everything else and many items online can be found that aren't in shops  although due  to the huge rise in shopping online many shops are shutting down for example hmv and especially block buster

there are many Advantages of owning a computer  such as :
being able to message friends and family can order food clothes etc and an electronic database so you can just query your database for anything that you need to know can easily check train times and bus times online very easily
